 CD Soundtrack, Michael Jackson's "This Is It" July 14, 2010

I loved the video for "This Is It" and had to own the soundtrack as well.
I have listened to it again and again. It is great music for motivation, working out, cycling, dancing!
MJ was a genius, and his early demise is all of our loss.

this is a nice compilation, but what i'd really would have liked was the ORIGINAL music compilation of songs from the movie, as they were played in the movie. the edginess of "thriller", "smooth criminal", the prelude 2 "how u make me feel", & all the others, were over the top FANTASTIC! is there any way i could ever get those songs as they were played n the movie?

Sure theres a song called this is it, but rest of em are greatest hits an I already have all the songs that he made on other albums.
This cd is for beginners or people thats aren't a huge fan of mj.
I still enjoy listening too Thiller, Off the Wall, Bad, Dangerous, History book 1, Blood on Dance floor(history in the mix), an Invinable.
I heard which I am not 100% positive if its true or not but on some site their saying that at November 2010 is going to be release the songs that jackson never publish for whatever reason.
Like I heard the day he died on news that there is more songs that never made it to the albums that he did made...
The people did it too the other bands like the Beatles and Frank Zappa the mothers of invention too, like release songs they never did for some reason in their life tyme.
I'm guessing that other artists thats past away too like have songs that never got publish.
The 2nd I hear about the songs that existed all though his life tyme that never got release an if they do release em on some cd's, then I will get it for sure, no matter what.
Anyway if you want real albums not greatest hits like this one.
Then pass on this one and get, Off the wall(1979), thiller(1982), bad(1987), Dangerous(1991?) History book 1(1995), Blood on dance floor(1997), invinacable(2001).
Plus I think the today bands, artists, etc. are terrible music like jay z, linkin park slipknot, etc...all the main stream bands.
Michael Jackson is the legend, an will always be better than Britney Spears, Slipknot, Dope, Lady Gaga an rest of the main stream music thats played on radio stations.

A well made and illustrated commemorative book holds the CDS. The music is a compilation of Jackson's music throughout the years that inspired This is It. The music is not from the DVD This is It. It contains the songs that were meant to be used on his tour. Great quality sound. A must have for any Michael Jackson fan.
