Product Description Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous host, Robin Leach, called it the 'sale of the century'. It was the real estate transaction that made Michael Jackson the owner of what would come to be called the Neverland Ranch. I am the realtor who made that sale. This story is about Michael Jackson, whom I first met when he was in his teens, and how I helped the King of Pop make his dreams come true and acquire his dream home, Neverland Ranch. Michael Jackson was one of the most brilliant men I have ever known in my life, certainly not the Wacko Jacko described in the media. He was so thoughtful and decisive as a client that he was a joy to work with. He is the only celebrity client that really knew what he wanted - where, when and how. I hope this exclusive telling of my friendship with Michael and the extraordinary adventure that was the search for Neverland will reveal his true motivations and intentions, and it is my hope that you will enjoy this book about Michael Jackson, the King of Pop.

cute little MJ book August 21, 2010 A. Martin (little rock, ar United States) I enjoyed reading this little book, written by someone who actually knew Michael and worked with him. It's fun to read, positive, and had some tidbits of knowledge about Michael that I didn't know, so that's good too.
In Search of Neverland August 21, 2010 Chill Will (West helena, Ar) First of all let me say, If you're looking for a long book, this isn't the one for you. This book is short. I read it in no time at all. If you want to know why Michael really bought Neverland, and what better source than the real estate agent who helped him find it this is definitely a book you will like. Ms. Berlin had known Michael for years before she helped him find his dream home and shared some beautiful adventures with him. If you're looking for a piece of feel good info about Michael and his search for a home, I highly recommend this book. I for one have had enough of the negative BS. out there that people are pushing in a effort to make a quick buck off of Michael. There is so much hatred, lies, and just plain nastiness out there. It was so good to see this book. Only wish had been longer. I loved it. It made me feel good. And what's wrong with feeling good about Michael?
Eh, forget it July 28, 2010 teva_man (United States) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Oh come on!! This old woman, a realtor/social butterfly, just happened to be the one who got the listing to
the Neverland Ranch. And now that Michael is dead, she's gonna try to get one more little piece of it. Who cares that her kid played with Michael, and who cares if she got her picture taken with all the members of the Jackson family?! You can probably find this book today in your local 99 cent store in the 'Books for a Dime' bin! It's not worth more than that, so if you have to read it, you can get it there. It's a little tiny book, printed in big typeface. And to boot...it's independently published. No publisher was gonna take her story and mass-produce it as a front-shelf bookstore title. Anyhow, don't waste your time on it, just go listen to some of Michael's brilliant music.
Great Book! July 27, 2010 beamcq I loved this book - it's just simple, wonderful stories of the author's experiences with Michael. Yes, it is a short book, and I hope the author writes more! Well worth the time and money - thanks Gloria Rhoads Berlin for sharing your memories of Michael.
great read July 23, 2010 Jacquelyn Coglan the only disappointment with this book is that it is a pity it is not longer. a really lovely refreshing read about the king of pop, written by someone who actually knew him and someone who could give a genuine insight into the real person! it is not like the usual books that are written by people who had never met him and only embroidered on the media perception of him. buy it, you will not be disappointed. i hope the author chooses to write more about her experiences with mj. i for one would definately buy it.
